Founded in 2011 through the creative partnership of Jasmin Zetlmeisl, art historian and visual poet, and Christophe Guillemot, a connoisseur of haute décoration and textile edition, Solstys stands as a quiet force within the world of high-end interior design.

With over four decades of combined expertise, the studio has become a trusted partner to discerning designers and private clients across the globe — participating in projects from Parisian apartments and New York penthouses to superyachts, private galleries, and heritage estates. Each rug is conceived as a singular composition — not merely a floor covering, but a luminous gesture crafted in dialogue with its surroundings.

Every Solstys rug is brought to life by master artisans in Nepal, using time-honoured techniques and the world’s most exquisite materials — from Tibetan and New Zealand wool to silk, linen, and cashmere. The result is a material language of exceptional depth and refinement, where light dances across surface and story is embedded in every knot.

In parallel, Solstys Atelier draws upon the rich visual languages of classical decorative arts — from 18th-century Savonneries to Art Deco geometry — offering bespoke reinterpretations and modern heirlooms tailored to context, scale, and spirit.
